FULL SET

Basically you’re creating a new set of nails. If longer nails are needed, this can be done by gluing on preformed plastic nails and building acrylic over the whole nail. Fullset is formed by using a liquid form of acrylic and a powder form. We dip the brush in the liquid then the powder. Forming a ball on the tip of your brush and you place the product on the nail to form the shape. After a client has this done once, generally all that is required is a fill every one to three weeks.

FILL-IN

 Acrylic Fill In treats the acrylic regrowth at the base of the nails. The lifting can be removed and the exposed natural nail will be covered with fresh acrylics. You’re filling in the growth (near the cuticle) with the acrylic so it looks like a fresh nail. Depending on the product, a fill is generally needed every one to three weeks.

DIP POWDER

The name dip powder basically explains the process. First, a base coat is applied, and the nail is dipped into a powder. The process is repeated a couple of times depending on how many coats you want. Then, the rough, powdery layers are transformed into a smooth, glossy finish once a sealant is applied. Unlike the classic gel manicure, it dries instantly withought using a UV lamp. And the powders don’t pose any inhalation threats.

Dipping powder nails are also known for their glossy finish and natural-looking appearance.

GEL-X

Gel-X is a “soft extension,” meaning it artificially lengthens your nails but still feels flexible, not hard, plastic-y, and molded. Gel-X is cured while applying to the nail, instead of after. They look like clear press-on extensions but thinner. These extensions can also be cut and filed into any shape and length after application. Though the extension itself is clear, there’s plenty of room to add color and personality after they have been affixed securely — in fact, the extensions are meant to be painted over with any color or desgin of your choice.
